Democrats from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform announced Wednesday that they have “received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors.”

“See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors,” Oversight Dems wrote on X.

“This production is in response to an Oversight Committee request to the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice for additional information to aid in the ongoing Committee investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes,” it added in a statement. “The Committee also received records from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Oversight Democrats intend to release files to the public after review in the days ahead.”

James Comer said the GOP has gotten over 5k documents in response to there subpoenas.

A spokesperson for Oversight’s Republican majority said in a statement that the committee “has received approximately 5,000 documents in response to [GOP Chairman James Comer of Kentucky’s] subpoenas” to the two banks, along with his request to the Virgin Islands.

“The Majority is reviewing these materials and will make them public soon, just as the Committee has already done with the more than 65,000 pages produced during this investigation,” the spokesperson said.

It’s interesting to see House Oversight Democrats suddenly acting like champions of transparency when, for years, their party had no problem looking the other way on Epstein and the powerful circles he operated in. Convenient timing doesn’t change the fact that this cover-up didn’t happen overnight — it happened because elites across politics, finance, and entertainment were protected for decades.

Republicans have been calling for full transparency and the release of all Epstein-related documents for years, including flight logs, visitor records, and the names of every individual who participated in or enabled this abuse. Democrats only seem willing to move when it might help them politically.

If they’re serious, then let’s have everything out in the open — no selective leaks, no protecting the “right” people, and no hiding behind redactions. The American people deserve to know who visited that island, who funded Epstein, who shielded him, and why this was ignored for so long.
