Tucker Carlson made waves when he revealed he was in Israel.
He went to interview Mike Huckabee.
However, controversy swarmed even before the release of the interview.
Tucker Carlson alleged he was detained.
Conservative podcasting titan Tucker Carlson said he and his staff were detained in Israel on Wednesday following an interview with Donald Trump’s ambassador to the country…
…Carlson exclusively told the Daily Mail that shortly after the interview, Israeli officials confiscated his passport and hauled one of his colleagues off to an interrogation room.
‘Men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports, hauled our executive producer into a side room and then demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about,’ Carlson told the Daily Mail.
‘It was bizarre. We’re now out of the country.’
Ambassador Mike Huckabee denied this was the case.
Huckabee rejected Carlson’s claims and wrote that “EVERYONE who comes in/out of Israel (every country for that matter) has passports checked & routinely asked security questions.”
The ambassador also shared a statement from the Israel Airports Authority denying all accusations that Carlson’s “entourage” were “denied, delayed, or interrogated.”
“Mr. Carlson and his party were politely asked a few routine questions, in accordance with standard procedures applied to many travelers. The conversation took place in a separate room within the VIP lounge solely to protect their privacy and to avoid conducting such a discussion in public,” the IAA wrote.

This is one of those situations where people will choose to believe who they already support prior.
In the eyes of No Bias News Network, somebody’s credibility will fall off a cliff after this.
If Israel is lying and they detained Tucker that would be an egregious blunder. It would lead to further criticism of the country from conservatives who for many years were supporters of the country.
If Tucker Carlson lied about this it would showcase that Tucker has no interest in acting in good faith. Lying about something like this would be not only unethical but pretty disgusting.
