Student Loan Bailout (2023): The Supreme Court struck down his $430B student loan bailout, but the Biden administration continued with a new, separate, and more targeted plan, which also faced lower court challenges.
Vaccine Mandates (2022): The Supreme Court blocked Biden’s OSHA vaccine-or-test mandate for large businesses, but the Biden Admin continued its mandate for health and federal workers.
EPA (2022): The Court limited the EPA’s authority to regulate carbon emissions from power plants, but the Biden Admin continued to seek different regulatory approaches.
Affirmative Action (2023): After the decision ending race-conscious college admissions, the Biden Admin urged colleges to consider “adversity” in admissions and directed its Education Department to still pursue affirmative action.
The same people who have been attacking the Supreme Court and calling for it to be packed now claim Donald Trump is an authoritarian for trying to get around the court ruling. Don’t let them lie to you.
