The depth of corruption between 2021-2025 is stunning.
JPMorgan just admitted that they closed Donald Trump’s bank accounts after January 6th.
JPMorgan Chase now confirms it closed Donald Trump’s bank accounts after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The admission in a court filing is the latest development in a lawsuit over allegations of political “debanking.” Trump sued last month for $5 billion and says the closures hurt his businesses. Trump also accuses the bank’s leader, Jamie Dimon, of misleading conduct and claims the bank put him on a reputational blacklist. JPMorgan says the suit lacks merit.
Further, Trump’s lawyers allege that JPMorgan placed the president and his companies on a reputational “blacklist” that both JPMorgan and other banks use to keep clients from opening accounts with them in the future. The blacklist has yet to be defined by the president’s lawyers.
“If and when Plaintiffs explain what they mean by this ‘blacklist,’ JPMorgan will respond accordingly,” the bank’s lawyers said in a filing.
You would think the mainstream media would be talking about this nonstop. You would think they would have interest in exposing what the decision-making behind this was and who was involved. Instead, they don’t care.
The establishment tried to destroy Trump after January 6th. They debanked him and tried to put him in jail.
Trump is suing JPMorgan over this.
President Donald Trump sued banking giant JPMorgan Chase and its CEO Jamie Dimon for $5 billion on Thursday over allegations that JPMorgan stopped providing banking services to him and his businesses for political reasons after he left office in January 2021.
The lawsuit, filed in Miami-Dade County court in Florida, alleges that JPMorgan abruptly closed multiple accounts in February 2021 with just 60 days notice and no explanation. By doing so, Trump claims JPMorgan and Dimon cut the president and his businesses off from millions of dollars, disrupted their operations and forced Trump and the businesses to urgently open bank accounts elsewhere.
“JPMC debanked (Trump and his businesses) because it believed that the political tide at the moment favored doing so,” the lawsuit alleges.
