We were assured that the strikes on Iran would destroy Donald Trump’s base.
We were assured Republican voters don’t back the President on this.
That wasn’t true.
Tom Bevan of RCP revealed that of the 5 polls out on Operation Epic Fury an average of 72.2% of Republicans back the strikes.
Only 14.4% are against. The rest are undecided or have no opinion. That means 13.4% remain undecided.
As a point of reference, 5 polls are out on Operation Epic Fury. On average, 72.2% of Republicans approve of Trump’s action, and only 14.4% disapprove. The rest are unsure/have no opinion.

What this shows us is that Republican voters are sticking with Trump on this. If his policy succeeds he will see his approval rating go up.
There is no question Trump took a risk. Trump said he is doing what is right and not necessarily what is politically popular. Just don’t buy into the doomers, panicans and liars in the media telling you otherwise.
