Many claimed Rubio had just confirmed that it was Israel that dragged the United States to strike Iran.
Trump responded to the news in classic Trump fashion.
He said not only did Israel not force his hand but he may have forced Israel’s hand.

The full context of the Rubio clip showcases the truth.
The US and Israel were looking to strike Iran. The United States and Israel wanted to do it when Iran didn’t expect it.
In order to make the strikes follow the law they leaned on the fact Iran would attack the United States after a strike from Israel.
This isn’t a defense of the way Rubio put it. In today’s climate saying what he said it is just terrible. The administration’s selling of this war is important. It makes complete sense to strike Iran now and before they can build up their defenses and get a nuke this didn’t help.
That doesn’t change the fact the critics of the war are purposedly not understanding the contexts.
