All eyes are on The Strait of Hormuz.
If Iran successfully shuts down the strait oil prices will skyrocket.
This is why Trump has taken action to get tankers back moving through the Strait.
Trump responded to news that Iran would start mining the Strait with a warning to them.
It is still unclear what Iran has the capacity to do at this point. It is completely understandable that tankers would not want to risk going through the Strait. Trump is doing all he can to inspire confidence and get tanker traffic back to normal.
